SOUTHEAST KANSAS CHRISTIAN ARTIST SERIES

This organization was founded in 1999 by a group of individuals who desired to bring nationally-known Christian artists to Iola, Kansas to share their faith and talents, bringing honor and glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and Christian enrichment to the people of Southeast Kansas. Our goal is to bring at least three concerts a year to our community.

These concerts are held in the beautiful Bowlus Fine Arts Center, a state of the art auditorium seating 760 with all reserved seating and wide aisles as well as being handicapped accessible. Ticket prices have been kept quite low to encourage people who might otherwise not be able to afford to see these groups. We have successfully relied on donations to make up any deficits we have had. SEKCAS is an approved 501(c)3 organization.

We are well-positioned for this endeavor as we are located approximately 100 miles southeast of the Kansas City area, 90 miles south of Lawrence and Topeka, 100 miles straight east of Wichita, 90 miles northwest of Joplin, Missouri, and 150 miles north of Tulsa. In the years since our founding, we have hosted groups such as The Booth Brothers, The Martins, Legacy 5, Lord Song, Janet Paschal, Greater Vision, The Perrys, John Starnes, The Hoppers, Brian Free and Assurance, Gold City, The Trio, Ivan Parker, Anthony Burger, and Kirk Talley, Ernie Haase and Signature Sound, Glad, and Dino.
